RSVP Recognition Dinner

2022 500+ hours.jpg

Our 2022 Recognition Dinner was a huge success! Pictured about are some of the volunteers who achieved gold level status by working 500 or more hours in the past year. Thanks to each and every one who gives of their time to help our communities!

The Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Daviess and Martin Counties has been in existence since 1973.

Our mission is to engage men and women, age 55 and better, in meaningful volunteer service that strengthens the well-being of self and community.

Currently boasting over 325 volunteers, our members work in all areas of community service. Our focus areas include food security, services for low income families, education, healthcare, the environment, the elderly and disabled, and more. Volunteers work with established        non-profits, schools, hospitals, nursing facilities, food pantries, thrift stores, and on many projects that we sponsor within our own agency.

If you are interested in volunteering in Daviess or Martin County, just give us a call at 812.254.1996 or stop by and visit us at the Eastside Park Community Building in Washington.
