RSVP of Daviess & Martin Counties
RSVP stands for Retired and Senior Volunteer Program. It is a national program designed to provide challenging, rewarding and meaningful opportunities for people aged 55 and better to actively and positively impact their community through volunteer service.
About Us
RSVP of Daviess & Martin Counties has been connecting adults age 55 and better with meaningful volunteer opportunities since 1973.
Located at 501 Burkhart Drive in Washington, Ind., RSVP partners with local nonprofits, schools, healthcare organizations, and community agencies to address needs throughout Daviess and Martin counties.
Volunteers serve in a variety of ways—through RSVP-led projects, with community partner organizations, or by providing one-on-one service to individuals. Whether mentoring children, preparing food kits, supporting local agencies, or helping a neighbor, every volunteer makes a positive impact while enriching their own life through service.
In 2023, RSVP proudly celebrated 50 years of strengthening our communities through volunteerism.
Today, hundreds of volunteers continue that tradition by sharing their time, talents, and compassion to improve the lives of others.
Each year, RSVP honors the dedication of our volunteers, station supervisors, community partners, and supporters during our annual Volunteer Recognition Event as we celebrate the difference they make every day.
