RSVP Volunteer Center of Daviess & Martin Counties

RSVP stands for Retired and Senior Volunteer Program. It is a national program designed to provide challenging, rewarding and meaningful opportunities for people aged 55 and better to actively and positively impact their community through volunteer service.

About Us

The RSVP Volunteer Center, 501 Burkhart Drive, Washington, serves Daviess and Martin counties.  We have been established since 1973, and our volunteers have put in countless hours since then serving to make

our community a better place.

We serve in many various locations including DCH Auxiliary, Feed My Sheep, St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, LUMC Food Pantry, and the Eastside Park Community Building where we host in-house projects. It is our desire to serve others and bring meaning to our volunteers.

In November 2023, we celebrated our 50th year of

serving the community.

Each year, we invite volunteers, station supervisors and community members to our annual recognition event.

"Every day thousands of unsung heroes bring caring and compassion to the lives of millions. Their names are never featured in the headlines, but our world would be a much darker place without them."
