May 2025 Newsletter
May is here and we are loving the beautiful sunshine. With warmer weather comes activities outside including Day of Caring, Yarn Art in the Park, and taking care of the flower beds around town. In this month's digital newsletter you will find upcoming opportunities, birthday, and early birds. If you don't see something that you think is coming up, give us a call.
Tuesday, May 6th will be the United Way Day of Caring. Various activities will take place around the community and several will take place here. We will need volunteers to help with breakfast and lunch serving. We will also be helping with Jubilee Christmas ornaments and any other small projects that come to the Community Building. Give us a call if you would like to help.

The First Choice mailing will be hosted at the Community Building Wednesday, May 7th and Thursday, May 8th from 10 a.m. to noon. We have a few spots available if you would like to come help with folding and labeling.

We will be hosting our annual Pen Pal Pizza Party on Wednesday, May 14th. This luncheon will given our volunteers the opportunity to meet their student pen pals who they have been writing to this school year. Small gifts of $10-15 max are not required, but encouraged. We will also need some help with serving drinks and setting out food at this event. If this interests you, please reach out to us. If you're interested in being a pen pal next school year and you've never been one in the past, call or text us.

Senior Fitness Classes will resume on May 28th. We apologize for the conflict preventing it from occurring more often. This class tends to have small turn out, so we can cater it more towards you. Need to work on stability? We can do that. Need to work on endurance? Let's get dancing! Jennifer does a great job keeping you moving without pushing you beyond your limits.
