June 2025 Newsletter
Now that June is here, we're hoping that everyone has started to settle into summer. We will be releasing our semi-annual newsletter this month, so be sure to check your mailbox for it soon. In this month's digital newsletter you will find upcoming opportunities, birthday, and early birds. If you don't see something that you think is coming up, give us a call.

Other news: Did you know that June 19th is a Federal Holiday? That means our offices will be close, but we will be back on June 20th.
We will be hosting Tech Tuesday at The Villages at Oak Ridge on Tuesday, June 17th at 2 p.m. If you would like to help others to uses their devices, please let us know. If you're needing help with your phone, tablet, or computer, give us a call anytime to get assistance.

The First Choice mailing will be hosted at the Community Building Monday, June 9th and Tuesday, June 10th from 10 a.m. to noon. We have a few spots available if you would like to come help with folding and labeling.

Bear Workshop is a time when volunteers come together to cut patterns, sew, and stuff teddy bears. These bears go out to children in the hospital, foster care, or who may have been part of a traumatic experience like a car accident. Recently, some of the bears have also been donated to Operation Christmas Shoebox to bless children all over the world. If you would like to be a part of this mission, reach out to us about getting involved.

Senior Fitness Classes will resume on June 11th. We apologize for the conflict preventing it from occurring more often. This class tends to have small turn out, so we can cater it more towards you. Need to work on stability? We can do that. Need to work on endurance? Let's get dancing! Jennifer does a great job keeping you moving without pushing you beyond your limits.
