Thanksgiving Calls

Senior & Family Services will be providing Thanksgiving meals for individuals in our community. We are looking for a few people willing to make calls to make sure the people on the lists want to receive a meal and to ensure they will be home to receive it. If you think you've got what it takes, contact us or come in person.

Shop Small Saturday

Saturday, November 29th, we are looking for 3 volunteers to help with Shop Small from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We can also do half shifts of 10 a.m. to 12:30 and 12:30 to 3 p.m. if you aren't able to do the full shift. You will be helping pass out raffle tickets and/or t-shirts. This will be indoors and won't require you to be on your feet. If you are interested, reach out and we would be happy to give you more details.  Each volunteer will receive a free t-shirt with this year's logo on it. 

Santa Letters

RSVP will be working alongside Santa to provide letters to children in our community. If you would like to be a part of it, let us know. We will be looking for volunteers with creative writing skills as well as volunteers who are willing to make some deliveries for Santa.

Wrap-a-Lap

Our Wrap a Lap event will be Tuesday, December 9th at the Community Building starting at 10 a.m. We will spend that time wrapping lap robes which have been generously donated by volunteers to give to area nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Make sure to sign up so we know how many people to set up for.

Christmas on Main

On Saturday, December 6th, Discover Downtown Washington will be needing some volunteers to help at their soup booth, at carriage rides, and with tearing down after the events are over. If you are interested click here or ask us for assistance in signing up. Each volunteer will receive a free t-shirt with this year's logo on it.

Christmas Decorating

We will be decorating the Community Building on Monday, December 1st starting at 10 a.m. Bring some Christmas cheer to our community and enjoy some time listening to Christmas songs as we decorate. If you have any questions about the event, reach out to us by November 26th.
